Xavier Smith is a stand-up comedian, actor, and writer whose authenticity and originality set him apart on every stage. After a successful professional basketball career overseas, he discovered a new passion in stand-up comedy. What began on local stages in his hometown of Seattle quickly evolved into a full-time pursuit—one that took him to New York City, where he honed his craft, auditioned for top comedy clubs, and earned multiple residencies performing alongside some of the best comics in the game.

Back home in Seattle, Xavier’s sharp storytelling, laid-back cool, and magnetic stage presence have made him a standout in the Pacific Northwest comedy scene. He’s won multiple comedy competitions and built a loyal following through his honesty, vulnerability, and effortless delivery. Each summer, he headlines and runs his own comedy festival—most recently selling out the Carco Theater with an unforgettable lineup of talent.

“Comedy gave me the same adrenaline rush as basketball, but with more freedom and authenticity,” Smith says. “New York taught me how to find my voice. Seattle gave me the space to amplify it.”
